We went here for the night on Friday and really enjoyed our time here, staff were really friendly, the bed in the honeymoon suit was so comfortable, i probably the best sleep I've ever had. Lovely location overlooking the hills. They didn't have any bbq sauce but they went out of their way to make some from scratch for me and it was lovely! Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional meal! Had a meal with family at Whiston Hall last night. Fantastic food. Very well cooked, great flavours, faultless service. Couldn’t have been better. Will definitely go back. Worth the travel to the place. Thank you

Have just attended my Daughters wedding at Whiston Hall , I can't express my thanks enough on how hard all the staff worked . Emma went above and beyond to make sure the venue was perfectly decorated for the occasion. We had a lovely evening meal the nighbefore. Only niggle was it wasn't served on time , but as they were all working so hard to get things right for the day we understood. The wedding day was brilliant, a good breakfast , brides breakfast came to the bridal suite, along with drinks for everyone. The wedding meal was delicious, served quickly so no one had to wait to long . It was a very busy 2 days for Emma and her staff , but they never stopped smiling and being helpful . As very new owners of this venue, seeing how hard they worked to make everything perfect , I can only expect things will get even better in the coming months.....My family and I wish you every success in your new venture , you truly do deserve it . Thank you Emma and you're team for making my Daughters wedding the perfect day .

We booked the hotel as a family as we were taking our Granddaughter on the Polar Express. We had two rooms. The hotel is in a,lovely location with outstanding views. It is out of the way and we were not advised of the surrounding pubs that would allow us in with a child. The rooms were large and comfortable, we were welcomed and shown our rooms immediately. We also had a nice meal and a drink before driving down for our polar express experience. Before we left we asked Emma if the bar would be open when we returned which would be about 21.45pm Emma assured us there would be some one there. On returning to the hotel it was all in darkness. We had to get into the hotel through the side door. Only to find that the,door leading to the bar area was closed. We had no choice but to go straight to our room. Going to make a drink we found no bottles of water and no milk. As this was a night away with family members that we don't have the luxury of spending a lot of quality time with, due to really busy lives, we were really looking forward to rounding off a lovely day and evening, I have to be honest and say this was a real disappointment. I am aware that the family have only just taken over. I wish them the best of luck, but please remember that when people book into a hotel they want to feel that there needs are met and they are important it is usually for something special people book a stay. We did not feel any of the above.

Played golf abit muddy on the 9 tee .But The Greens are in Fantastic CONDITION. Better than my Course. Home made Food .what more can I say 😜👍🍷

Excellent resort, the staff are extremely friendly, food and drink is bang on point and the onsite golf course is well maintained and a joy to play.

Despite the sign saying breakfast every day, the day we went there wasn't. They had a staff meeting instead, and were rude enough to just ignore us, i assume as they were more important. Sounds like it might be enjoyable , unfortunately it wasn't when we went.

Wonderful venue for the reception of my daughter and son in laws wedding. Nothing was too much trouble. It was the perfect venue and a perfect day. Highly recommend this venue and our guests all agreed. Thank you Whiston Hall for making it a day to remember.

My lady wife and I celebrated our daughters wedding on Thursday the 16th of May and I would like to say the following. From the moment we walked in to Whiston Hall to be greeted by Dave and Marlene and we asked if our daughter could be married the whole process has been to say the least perfect. Amazing venue wonderful people who helped us on this journey. As for the big day Dave and Marlene had everything sorted and the old house looked stunning. Fantastic food wonderful service and Dave even helped out with the role of master of ceremonies. The whole day went perfectly . The food was divine and the service off the scale. The evening event was fantastic with a delicious buffet and a disco to die for. The photographer recommended went the extra mile and we thank him. If you are planning a wedding please look no further than Whiston Hall. Thank you to Dave ,Marlene and the amazing staff. They also have a great golf course.

Had a lovely overnight stay with breakfast. Quiet location with a 9 hole golf course, which is very popular. Staff were all lovely, and the breakfast was excellent

Photographed a wedding here recently, staff couldn't do enough for the bride and groom and guests or me as a vendor, really welcoming venue. Beautiful light and airy contemporary decor throughout, and good food, would highly recommend as a wedding venue or for a visit for a meal

It is an old building though so if you're a light sleeper, be prepared. They do provide ear plugs for guests. The restaurant for dinner is fantastic. Highly recommend if you're visiting Alton Towers or Peak Wildlife Park.

Beautiful ckean hotel, very peaceful. Outstanding dinner and ample breakfast. We were provided with complimentary water and ear plugs. Extremely comfortable bed. A hair dryer and a fan was provided. Overall a pleasure to stay in and would highly recommend staying here. Also, 9 mins from Alto Towers!!

We came to stay over before alton towers as its 10 mins away. Just as a treat really. The hotel is lovely, a warm welcome and comfy room. We had a wonderful dinner and just had a great breakfast. Give this place a try.

Stayed here for two nights as we had a day at Alton Towers. Traveled from Scotland on the Thursday and dined in the hotel. Amazing staff, so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Nice rooms, loved that there was a bottle of water in the room. Clean, comfortable, relaxing. Lovely food in the evening, really great steak. Great breakfast, I so sad we missed our breakfast this morning we were so tired from the theme park we over slept and if it wasn't for my medication alarm we would have missed check out too, the breakfast is really nice sorry to the chef that we missed it. This hotel is in a lovely little quiet village. I would come back again.

Lovely location, decent breakfast, staff were very friendly but rooms let it down particularly the bathroom. Shower not attached to wall so you have to have a squatting shower.

Had a lovely one night stay here before an Alton Towers visit. It was a lovely location and wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were great and food and drinks reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area

Absolutely stunning location with beautiful views. The hotel was so clean, smelt lovely and the staff were so welcoming and friendly! Cooked breakfast was great with a selection of cereals, toast, yoghurts and juice too! Will definately go back when in the area! Thanks for a great stay!

Really lovely place with great hosts. The rooms were large and the beds big and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were tasty, well cooked and plentiful. The hosts and staff were all helpful and friendly. Alveley quiet place to stay especially if you like golf. Next time I will get my clubs our and use a buggy.
